Outfit ♥ 26.12.13

Ein kleines “Was wäre, wenn”-Outfit, denn der Jumpsuit ist nur eine Leihgabe (und deshalb auch so zerknittert – ich hatte Angst, dass mir der Stoff beim Bügeln irgendwie kaputtgeht, also seid bitte nicht böse!), wäre aber perfekt für die Feiertage gewesen: locker und bequem, trotzdem schick und je nachdem, wie man ihn gerne stylen will, passt er zum Weihnachtsesssen mit Oma und Opa, zur Feier mit Freunden oder auch auf einer Party bis spät in die Nacht. :) Ich habe mich für eine Mischung aus gemütlich und schick entschieden (wäre dann wohl eher was für’s Familienessen, oder?), komplett schwarz, aber dafür mit dem ein oder anderen Farbtupfer. Den festlichen Touch bringt das Haarband in Kombi mit der hochgesteckten (oder eher hochgewickelten) Frisur, der Cardi entspannt alles wieder.

Übrigens – einen zweiten Jumpsuit (und den komplett anders gestylt) und ein Outfit, das mal was ganz Anderes ist, gibt’s heute zusammen mit meiner “To Wear”-List für 2014 in meinem → Style Council Artikel bei navabi (und ich muss zugeben – den anderen Jumpsuit mag ich sogar noch lieber!). :)

This is kind of a “what-if” outfit as the jumpsuit is only a loan (that’s why it’s so wrinkled – I was afraid of ruining it with the iron, don’t be mad at me!), but it would have been perfect for the holidays: it’s casual and comfy but still chic and – depending on the way you style it – it suits Christmas lunch with your grandparents, celebrating with your friends, or partying until late in the night. :) I chose a mixture of cozy and chic (probably the best choice for a family meal), all black but with some spots of color. The hairband adds a festive touch, together with the pinned-up (or better rolled-up) hairdo, the cardi dresses the look down a bit again.

By the way – you can see a second jumpsuit (completely different style) and an outfit that’s something very new to me, together with my “To Wear” list for 2014, in my → Style Council article on navabi today (and I have to admit that I like the other jumpsuit even better!). :)

Okay, Tatsache ist: das Make-up passt nicht zu den Schuhen. Weil ich vorher was anderes im Kopf hatte und mich dann aber spontan für die Peep-Toes entschieden habe. Darüber muss man hinwegsehen. Wobei es auf den Fotos unpassender aussieht (vor allem, weil die Lippen auf den Outfitfotos sehr rot wirken, es aber wirklich nicht sind – das Licht ist so grausam draußen!). ;) Auf jeden Fall hatte ich Lust auf die “Peacock”-Palette von Dior aus dem Sommer, die wirklich wundervoll ist. Kombiniert habe ich die Grüntöne mit knalligem Pink aus dem Weihnachtslook von Dior, der Lippenstift (übrigens ein Weihnachtsgeschenk ♥) ist eher matt – ich wollte es aber glänzend und habe deshalb den passenden Lipgloss (beides aus der gleichen Kollektion) drüber aufgetragen.

Let’s be honest: make-up and shoes don’t match. That’s because I had something else in mind but went for the peep-toes spontaneously. You’ll have to overlook this. Especially because it looks even more unsuitable in the pictures (and the lips look red in the outfit pictures, but they really aren’t – the light outside is horrible!). ;) Anyways, I wanted to use the “Peacock” palette of Dior’s summer look, which is just wonderful. I combined the green shades with bright pink lips (part of Dior’s Christmas look). The lipstick (a Christmas gift ♥) is rather matte but I wanted it to shine, so I dabbed on a matching pink lipgloss (both are part of the same collection).
